I’m Damon Hall and my close friend Ryan Robertson was shot overnight while working in Columbus. I met him many many years ago when he was my trainer at LA fitness, when I first moved to Columbus. We’ve been close friends ever since. On Sunday, August 9, 2020, Ryan was trying to make deliveries to support his 2 kids and long-time girlfriend. Within a matter of minutes his life changed. Ryan was shot multiple times near Nationwide Children’s Hospital at a stop sign. He totaled his vehicle and is scheduled for surgery within the next couple of days.
Ryan is one of the hardest working people I have ever known. He works as a FT personal trainer. Prior to the shooting he was impacted by the COVID-19 gym closures. Despite this, Ryan overcame his obstacles and focused on his woodworking business @kindreddissonance on IG. Ryan is now physically unable to do so as he is recovering from his injuries.
Ryan is a man who always makes a way out of no way, no matter the situation. This man is very hardworking. Ryan has multiple degrees, works multiple jobs and no matter what life throws at him, he always finds a way to provide for his family. Ryan has a long road ahead of him to recover. We know that finances are truly tough for everyone, but any donation will be greatly appreciated to help offset the medical expenses and assist his family while he is recovering from his injuries.
